Phi Chi Theta

Purpose:

Phi Chi Theta is a professional fraternity for students interested in business and management.  It provides an environment for members to develop critical business skills as well as an opportunity for building a social and professional network. Since 1924, Phi Chi Theta has earned the reputation as one of the leading co-ed business and economic fraternities in the nation with chapters from coast to coast. The organization prides itself on fostering new business leaders by creating value and professional growth in each member.  The Gamma Tau chapter at the University of Montevallo is hosted by the Stephens College of Business.

Chapter Mission: We seek to enhance our reputations through membership in this prestigious organization, and by development, growth, and recording of our business skills and leadership capabilities. We seek to integrate the learning experience of the Stephens College of Business, and the University of Montevallo, going beyond the boundaries of individual classrooms, and beyond the expectations of individual assignments. We seek to build and demonstrate our leadership, while providing and learning from service opportunities.

Chapter Vision: We seek to continually improve the organization by improving ourselves. We will continually grow in capabilities and strengths. We will always focus on sustaining the chapter mission by applying our continually improving talents and resources.
