Quick Reference of Sports
The objective of Ultimate is to score points by
receiving a teammate's pass in the opponent's
end zone. It is a team
sport played with a Frisbee or similar flying
disc most commonly weighing 175 g. The object of
the game is to score points by passing the disc
into the opposing end zone, similar to football.
Players may not run while holding the disc.
It takes seven (7) people to field a team.

is a version of American football that is
popular across the United States The game's
rules are very similar to those of the
professional game, but with the exception that
instead of tackling players to the ground, the
team on the defensive must grab a flag from the
player that has the ball and take it off in
order for play to stop. It takes seven (7)

Basketball
Basketball is
a ball sport in which two teams of five players
each try to score points by throwing a ball
through a hoop. It takes five (5) people
to have a team.

Volleyball
Volleyball is
a popular sport where teams separated by a high
net hit a ball back and forth. Both teams are
allowed three hits to get the ball over the net
to the other half. A point is scored if the ball
hits the opponents' court, if the opponents
commit a fault, or if they fail to return the
ball properly. It takes six (6) people to have a
team.

Soccer
Soccer is a ball game played between two teams
of seven players, each attempting to win by scoring more goals than their
opponent. It is played predominantly with the feet, but players may use any part
of their body except their hands and arms to propel the ball; the exceptions to
this are the goalkeepers, who are the only players allowed to handle the ball in
the field of play.

Softball
Softball is a
team sport, in which a ball is thrown by a
player called a pitcher and hit by an offensive
player called a batter with a bat. The ball
itself is also called a softball. Scoring is
accomplished by the batter touching all the
bases. It takes nine (9) people to field a team.
