Jo Lynn Suell is an assistant professor of education at the University of Montevallo. She holds three degrees from Troy University including a B.S. in secondary education and a M.S. and Ed.S. in special education. Her doctorate is in curriculum and instruction from the University of West Florida.
At the University of Montevallo, Suell is the Special Education Program coordinator and teaches undergraduate and graduate classes in special education, assessment, classroom management and other education courses. She has previously taught at Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas and the University of West Florida in Pensacola, Fla. Her public school teaching experience includes many grade levels in Alabama and Florida.
Suell’s research is focused on students’ preferences in online classes.
