Students with disabilities are encouraged to contact Disability Support Services (DSS) prior to or upon enrollment at the University. Students must provide current disability documentation (see Documentation Guidelines) and complete a Request for Accommodation form. Requests for services and accommodations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and must relate specifically to the students’ disability.
DSS staff may act as a liaison regarding any disability accommodations. In order to more effectively meet the access needs of Montevallo students with disabilities, DSS works closely with academic departments and other campus entities such as:
