Why Are We Voting Online?
All SGA Elections will be conducted online using the Blackboard System. This will allow students to vote when and where it is convenient for them. It will also ensure that each student will know exactly what he or she is eligible to vote for. In addition, results can be tabulated instantly when polls close, offering much faster election results.
What if I Don't Have a Computer?
You will be able to vote from any computer that has internet access. This includes all computers in campus computer labs and personal computers on and off campus. To provide additional opportunities, we will have a computer set up in the Student Union Building (Farmer Hall) each day during elections from 8:00am until 5:00pm.
