A change of major form is also
available in academic departments and the
Registrar's Office.
How to change a
major
- Student completes Part 1 of
this form and takes the form to the new
major department for approval
- New major department completes Part
2 of this form and assigns a new advisor
- Registrar's Office receives the
completed form from the department or
student
- Registrar's Office enters the
major change in Banner and completes Part 3
It is advisable that a
major change be made prior to advising and
pre-registration each semester so that the
student is advised correctly for the
subsequent semester.
Add or change a
minor
A student wishing to declare a music minor
must do so in the Music Department.
Business or management information
systems minors must do so in the Stephens
College of Business. The College will
notify the Registrar's Office and the
Registrar's Office will enter the minor in Banner. A student wishing to
declare or change a minor, other than the
above, will do so in the Registrar's Office.
