Enrollment or Degree Verification

The University of Montevallo has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to act as its agent for verification of student enrollment status and degree earned.

Student Access

Enrollment verification through the National Student Clearinghouse is available to the student at all times that the WEB for Students is available and is accessed in the same manner that the student accesses all other student information at Student Services.  The printed enrollment certificate is official, and the National Student Clearinghouse serves as the agent for and Authorized Certifying School Official of the University of Montevallo.

Reminders:  Students must include policy numbers, group type (if appropriate), and any supporting forms/identifying documentation provided by the insurance company so they can process the student’s verification.  This self-service is not to be used for student loans.

Agency Access

All enrollment and degree verifications are verified through the National Student Clearinghouse.  The National Student Clearinghouse serves as agent for and authorized Certifying School Official for the University of Montevallo.  Agency contact with the National Student Clearinghouse is at;

Loan deferment papers need to be brought to the Records Office. These are sent to the National Student Loan Clearinghouse. They complete the school section and send the information to your loan agency. These are mailed every Friday. If you have a problem with your loan agency not receiving this, the Clearinghouse customer service number is (703-742-7791). You will need your social security number and the school name.
