Change of Major or Minor

To change a major, students may obtain a change-of-major form in any department office, from the Records Office, or by accessing and printing the change of major form from this page.  The form must be taken to the new department for approval and for assignment of an academic adviser, and then to the Records Office, where the change will be recorded. Since students can register only in the department which offers their major, it is essential that changes be made prior to advising and pre-registration each semester.
