Students can easily
change their address through Student Resources
on the UM home page:
1. On the internet, go to www.montevallo.edu
2. Click on the forUM logo and log in
3. Click on the Banner tab
3. Select Banner Self Services
5. Select view Addresses and phone numbers. If
anything is incorrect select Update Addresses
and Phones at the bottom of the page. Enter your new
address.
Address changes may also be done by filling out the form in the Records Office or by faxing or sending a letter. The letter needs to include the following:
student's name (as it is currently on the computer)
student's social security number
the information that needs to be changed (indicating if it is the permanent or student address)
student's signature (the student must sign the letter)

Students must change their
name or social security number in the
Records Office.
Documentation of the change must be provided
before a name or social security change will
be made to the student's records. Contact
the Records Office of more information.
