- What should I do in case of an emergency?
All emergency situations on or off campus involving crime, medical emergency, or fire should be immediately reported by dialing 911? For more information
- How do I submit a maintenance work order?
All requests may be submitted online though Maintenance Direct.
- Who do I contact to report after-hour maintenance issues?
Please contact the University Police Dispatcher at 205-665-6000.
- Where is the Physical Plant located?
The Physical Plant Complex is located on College Drive across from the McChesney Student Activity Center.
- What is the physical address for the Physical Plant?
The physical address is 75 College Drive, Montevallo, AL 35115.
- How do I reserve a motor pool vehicle for my department?
Motor Pool vehicles may be reserved by calling the Mechanic Shop at 205-665-6160, or Motor Pool request are available at the Physical Plant Office. For more information
- Does the University have a recycling program?
Yes. There are blue recycling cans in each building for your sorted recyclables. They will be removed by the Custodial staff as needed. Cardboard can be placed at the trash receptacles at each building and will be taken to the proper place to be recycled. In addition, the City of Montevallo’s recycling center is now located at the intersection of Overland Road and Spring Creek Road. All recyclable items must be sorted prior to drop-off.
