 StudentAccolades

Three University of Montevallo Department of Music students participated in the Alabama Music Teachers National Association Competition. The results were:

• Sarah Jenkins, saxophone, music education and performance major, Alternate, Young Artist Woodwind Division
• Claire Wilson, clarinet, music education and performance major, Honorable Mention, Young Artist Woodwind Division
• UM Saxophone Quartet, Dakota Bromley, soprano saxophone; Sarah Jenkins, alto saxophone; Sean Toler, tenor saxophone; and Claire Wilson, baritone saxophone; Winners, Chamber Music Division.

All of these students are from the studio of Lori Ardovino, professor of music.
