Scott Meyer, Art, will have his ceramic sculpture on display as part of a group show, “Southeast Ceramics Invitational,” in the McMaster Gallery at the University of South Carolina. Meyer will be part of a three-artist panel asked by the curator to speak on current trends and the future of ceramic art. The panel will take place Thursday, Oct. 15, at 4 p.m., and will be followed by the exhibition opening reception. The show will run through Thursday, Nov. 19.

Rosa Maria Stoops, English and Foreign Languages, presented the paper “El demonio ya estaba en casa. Sobre la ejemplaridad y el misterio en El celoso extremeno, una novela corta de Miguel de Cervantes,” at the 11th Biennial Northeast Regional Meeting of the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese, at Regis and Wellesley Colleges, near Boston, Oct. 9-12.
