A retirement counselor from the Teachers’ Retirement System will be on campus Tuesday, March 2, 2010, in Carmichael Library. This service is for employees planning to retire within the next three years. It is necessary to have a pre-arranged appointment to talk with the counselor. Interested individuals should visit www.rsa-al.gov/Ret%20Planning/trs-appts.html for instructions on how to request an appointment. Counseling appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis and the event is open to all TRS members in our community. Plan early to make sure you get an appointment. Additional information is also available through the Field Services Division at the Retirement Systems of Alabama (1-877-517-0020).
