John Bawden, Behavioral and Social Sciences, has had an article, “The Chilean Military’s Reading of International Events: Implications for Doctrine, Ideology and Behavior, 1960-1975,” accepted for publication in The Latin Americanist.

Karen Graffeo, Art, has work featured in “Art of the State,” a juried show at the Tennessee Valley Museum of Art in Tuscumbia. The show will run through March 2. Graffeo’s etched glass and stainless piece, “The Story Of,” and a photograph and graphite drawing, “So Fly,” will be displayed alongside pieces by 25 other artists who serve as faculty of two- and four-year colleges and universities across Alabama. In addition, Graffeo’s photographic series, “Let Us Now Praise the Roma,” will be on display at the New Orleans Museum of Art. The opening reception on Friday, Feb. 3, will coincide with the cultural symposium “Artfully Aware.”
