University of Montevallo graphic arts student Hannah Stein is pictured with a miniature print of her award-winning poster design for this year’s production of Albert Herring, a three-act opera by Benjamin Britten. Stein won the opera poster contest sponsored by members of Opera Volunteers International. The Department of Music staged a full production of the opera April 19 and 20 in LeBaron Recital Hall. Pictured with Stein is Interim College of Fine Arts Dean Scott Stephens, right, and Director of Opera Charles Wood.
