The Language of Comics Exhibition

“The Language of Comics,” a museum-style exhibit created by students in Alex Beringer’s English 232 class, will be on display during regular library hours at Carmichael Library. In the course, which focuses on graphic narratives, students have studied the conventions and theory of graphic narratives (a.k.a. comics) from the 18th century through the present. The exhibit features posters, actual comics and a digital installation with web comics.
