• The General Education Review Committee has announced the schedule for the next open forum, which will take place Wednesday, April 24, at 3:30 p.m., in Wills 201. At this final spring-term session, the committee will invite those in attendance to discuss with the committee their thoughts about various ideas that are being explored (first-year experience, capstone experience, LEAP Essential Learning Outcomes, UM’s current general education curriculum, etc.). These sessions are open to anyone —students, faculty, staff, administrators — interested in hearing where the committee is in the review process and in interacting with others about future possibilities for UM’s general-education curriculum. All are encouraged to attend, and those whose schedules will allow them to attend only part of a session are encouraged to do so.
