2012 Young Musicians' Campers
The University of Montevallo Young Musicians' Camp provides students
ages 11-18 with superior musical instruction combined with the fun and
friendship of a great summer camp. A variety of ensemble and masters
class experiences are conducted by University of Montevallo music
faculty and guest artists. Evening activities include swimming, field
sports, cook-outs, movies, and talent shows.
Individual private instruction is also available in guitar, voice, piano
and instruments for an additional fee.
Camp scholarships are available for the musically gifted or for those
who demonstrate financial need. All-State Band/Choir participants
or piano students who placed in an AMTA sanctioned event may
qualify for a YMC All-State/AMTA Scholarship. For those who did
not participate in All-State or AMTA, a limited number of
talent and need based YMC General Scholarships are also
available.
