Bachelor of Arts
The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Music provides for the study of music within the context of the liberal-arts curriculum.
Bachelor of Music
The Bachelor of Music (B.M.) degree is offered in the following concentrations:

Music Education--Choral

Music Education--Instrumental

Piano Performance

Vocal Performance

Instrumental Performance (woodwinds, brass, percussion, guitar)
Master of Education
The Department of Music, in cooperation with the College of Education, offers courses for the Master of Education with a concentration in the field of music and for the program leading to the Alabama Class A
P-12 certification in either instrumental or general-choral music.
Minor in Music
The program consists of 21 credit hours distributed among courses in music history, theory, and performance.
