Driving Directions

From Birmingham . . .

The University of Montevallo is located in Shelby County, approximately 30 miles south of Birmingham. The campus is located approximately 9 miles from the Shelby County Airport exit off Interstate 65.  LeBaron Recital Hall is located just inside the front doors of the Davis Music Building.   The Music Office is located in Room 201.

• Take Interstate 65 South

• Take Exit 234, the Shelby County Airport Exit

• Turn left at the end of the ramp – this becomes Highway 12

• Go 1.5 miles where Hwy 12 dead-ends at County Road 22

• Turn right on County Road 22

• Go 3.0 miles to the traffic light at Highway 119 South

• Turn left on Highway 119 South

• Follow Hwy 119 South into Montevallo, 4-5 miles - it becomes Main Street

• At the third traffic light (just past McDonalds), turn right on Vine Street

• Go two blocks and enter the gates of campus.

• Turn left into the parking lot just inside the gates.  This parking lot is directly behind the Davis Music Building.

From Tuscaloosa…

The University of Montevallo is located in Shelby County, approximately 55 miles east of Tuscaloosa. The campus is located approximately 20 miles from Highway 82/25 junction.

• Take 82 East and take a right onto 25 North

• Go left at the light onto Highway 119 North (Lucky’s Foodland is on your right)

• Hwy 119 becomes Main Street.  Go to the 3rd traffic light and turn left onto Vine Street

• Go two blocks and enter the gates of the campus

• Turn left into the parking lot just inside the gates.  This parking lot is directly behind the Davis Music Building.

From Montgomery . . .

The University of Montevallo is located in Shelby County, approximately 60 miles north of Montgomery. The campus is located approximately 9 miles from the Calera exit off Interstate 65.

• Take Interstate 65 North

• Take the Calera Exit - Highway 25 - University of Montevallo Highway

• Turn left at the end of the ramp onto Highway 25 South

• Go 1.0 mile.  Turn left at traffic light onto Highways 25 & 31

• Go 2 blocks to the second traffic light.  Turn right onto Highway 25 South

• Go 6.0 miles to the traffic light and green "University of Montevallo" sign

• Turn right onto Highway 155 North

• At traffic light turn right on Main Street

• Go one block and turn left on Vine Street

• Go two blocks and enter the gates of campus

• Turn left into the parking lot just inside the gates.  This parking lot is directly behind the Davis Music Building.
