The University of Montevallo Clarinet Choir

The UM Clarinet Choir is an ensemble comprised majors and non-majors that want to learn the clarinet repertoire in an ensemble experience. The UM Clarinet Choir uses clarinet choir instrumentation which includes the Eb clarinet, Bb soprano, alto, bass and contra clarinets. The ensemble performs one formal concert each semester and travels to many of the area public schools for various performances. Additionally, the UM Clarinet Choir performs for special events such as the Christmas Feast, Woodwind Workshop and the College of Fine Arts Scholarship Gala. This ensemble is required by all clarinet majors and is open to non-majors and other woodwind majors with permission of the instructor. The class meets once weekly on Wednesdays at 1:00-1:50.
