Grading:
The assigning of grades in applied music is, to a great extent,
a subjective decision based on the teacher’s view of the student’s growth.
There must be a careful weighting of the quantity and quality of your work
throughout the semester. The overall grade for each semester is based on the
following:
-
Weekly preparation - Each lesson will be graded. You may
check your progress at any time. I encourage you to do so if you are in
doubt.

instructor.Students with disabilities:
“It is the policy of the University of Montevallo to afford
equal opportunity in education to qualified students. If you have a disability that may prevent
you from meeting course requirements, contact the instructor immediately to file a
student disability statement and to develop an accommodation plan. Course requirements will not be
waived but reasonable accommodations will be developed to assist you in meeting the
requirements. You are expected to work with the instructor and the Office of Student Support
Services to develop and implement a reasonable accommodation plan.” It is the students
responsibility to inform the instructor of any special needs as soon as possible after class registration. |
