Heidi Boothe

Photo of Ms. BootheHeidi Boothe is a 2005 alumna of the University of Montevallo, where she received the Bachelor of Music degree in Clarinet Performance. Upon graduation from UM, she attended the University of New Mexico as a graduate student and received the Master of Music degree in 2007. She performed in many ensembles while in attendance there and had the pleasure of performing as a member of the UNM Wind Symphony for their third CD recording with Summit Records titled Classic Solos for Wind.

In 2007, she received a Graduate Assistantship to attend the University of Nevada Las Vegas. While at UNLV, she premiered many works with the NEXTET Contemporary Ensemble and performed as a member of the UNLV Wind Orchestra in their recording of Vega Maximus, produced by Klavier Music Productions. She also performed with the UNLV Symphony Orchestra in their 50th Anniversary concert conducted by the great violin virtuoso, Itzhak Perlman.

Mrs. Boothe's clarinet teachers include Dr. Lori Ardovino (Professor of Clarinet and Saxophone, University of Montevallo), Keith Lemmons (Professor of Clarinet, UNM) and Dr. Marina Sturm (Professor of Clarinet, UNLV). She currently lives in Montevallo with her husband, 3 German Shepherds and Beagle.
