The Math Club is organized to encourage interest in mathematics, support students in mathematics classes, and provide an informal setting for students to share ideas and participate in mathematical activities. This is accomplished through regular meetings. At these meetings, invited speakers (UM students, UM faculty, and guests from other institutions) present colloquia, films are shown, problems are presented, and students socialize over refreshments, asking questions and discussing their thoughts and concerns.
