Elementary & Secondary Textbooks

K-12 textbooks are located on the first floor of the Malone Curriculum Center.  The elementary (K-6) textbooks are located in the circulation room.  Secondary textbooks (6-12) are located in the computer lab room.  Five textbooks may be checked out at once.  They circulate for a period of two weeks with a limit of 5 books.  They can be renewed once. 

Textbook Call Numbers

Textbooks are shelved in Dewey Decimal order.  The call number includes the DD number, publisher, and grade level. Teacher's editions are indicated by "T.E."  Call number TX 372.3 Hou G.3 T.E. would be the teacher’s edition of a third grade science textbook published by Houghton Mifflin.  Each subject is shelved together by publisher and grade level.
