Malone Curriculum Center

Welcome to the Malone Curriculum Center Website.

Established in the early 1970's under the leadership of Ms. Nell Malone, the primary function of the Curriculum Center is to provide current resources, media, and services to students, faculty, and staff as they design and utilize instructional materials.

Located in Wills Hall, the Center consists of three connected rooms; a computer lab/secondary room, circulation and resource area and a production room. Areas are also available for students to study, relax, work, and preview materials.

The Curriculum Center houses approximately 12,000 print and non-print instructional resources and instructional supplies. The Center's collection supports professional education programs in particular and consists of state-approved textbooks, state courses of study, national education standards, periodicals, student-produced teaching units, children's literature, big books, professional and reference books and expanding multicultural and special education collections. There are two search stations available to search the Center's resources by title, author, keyword and subject.

The Center also manages the College of Education's media department, which consists of all audio-visual formats:  videos, audiotapes, CDs, picture files, maps, games/kits, video disks, computer software, and classic 16mm films.
