Faculty Bibliography
About the Bibliography
The University of Montevallo Faculty Bibliography was launched in 2006 to highlight the scholarly efforts of University faculty. Working with the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Carmichael Library collects information on recent publications, musical performances, visual arts installations and other works in an effort to catalog the creative contributions of the UM community.
The focus of the list is recent work (from the last five years), but faculty may submit works they feel are significant from earlier in their careers. The listing will include:
Presented papers, other presentations, editorials, and reviews will not be included.
Emerti faculty may contribute if they wish, but they will not be required to do so.
The faculty member must be named as an author on the work.
Faculty may submit works not included in the above list. The Library Director, in consultation with the appropriate Dean and the Vice President for Academic Affairs, will determine if the work should be included.
To Submit Your Work
There are separate forms for articles, books and book chapters. Click on the link that corresponds most closely to your publication. Musical compositions and concerts, art showings and installations and other works may be submitted from the form labeled other type of publication. Please provide as much detail as you can as this will help the library properly cite your work. All of the forms send an e-mail with your citation information to the library.
