Apparel Construction and Analysis

 

Objective: to learn how to keep up with current trends and/or new information in fashion in such sources as DNR (Daily News Record), WWD (Women’s Wear Daily), HFN (Home Furnishings Network), etc.

 

  • DNR (Daily News Record) [men’s wear fashion] is a weekly newspaper, shelved in the Browsing section of the Library.
  • HFN (Home Furnishings Daily) is a weekly newspaper, shelved in the Browsing section of the Library.
  • WWD (Women’s Wear Daily) is a weekly newspaper that is shelved in the Browsing section of the Library. In addition, one can view selected articles online via the Library’s Web page:

Then select “Find Articles…” and from the drop down menu

Then select “Electronic journals” and type the journal, magazine or newspaper title.
