Chicago Manual of Style
The Chicago Manual of Style is used by many disciplines in the humanities and the social sciences. There are two basic formats for citations. The humanities style is used by some researchers in literature, history, and the arts. The author-date system is preferred in the social, physical, and natural sciences.
