How do I read a NetLibrary electronic book?
Carmichael Library has over 14,000 electronic books. To access an eBook on
campus do the following:
- Go to the
Library Catalog
- Type "netlibrary"
and select Author
Alphabetical or Author Keyword and GO.
- All of the NetLibrary eBooks Carmichael Library has
will be listed.
- Search through this list or repeat your
search with keywords
included.
- When you have found the
book you would like to check
out click on the title.
You
will be taken to a page with
details about the selected
book. On the right hand side
of the page there will be a
link that will take you to
the NetLibrary
website.
To access an eBook from
off-campus do the following:

Create a netLibrary user
account at the Carmichael
Library. You will only
need to do this once.

Click on the Create a Free Account
link.

Enter user name, password, and
email address.

Select the Submit button.

To access your account from
off-campus,
www.netLibrary.org and
enter your user name and
password in the login box.

Click on the Log in
button.
