How do I access a NetLibrary audio book?

 

Carmichael Library has hundreds of downloadable audio books.  To access audio books on campus do the following:

• Go to the Library Catalog
• Choose the Advanced Search option
• Type "netlibrary" and select Author Keyword
• Limit your search to non-musical sound recordings and GO.
• All of the NetLibrary audio books Carmichael Library has will be listed.
• Search through this list or repeat your search with keywords included.
• When you have found the book you would like to check out click on the title.
  You will be taken to a page with details about the selected book. On the right hand side of the page there will be a link that will take you to the NetLibrary website.

To access an audio book from off-campus do the following:

• Create a netLibrary user account at the Carmichael Library.  You will only need to do this once.

• Click on the Create a Free Account link.

• Enter user name, password, and email address.

• Select the Submit button.

• To access your account from off-campus, www.netlibrary.com and enter your user name and password in the login box.

• Click on the Log in button.
