Selection Tools and Criteria
The Collection Development policy is presented here in summary form. For a complete version of the document, contact the Library.
Print Resources
Special attention is paid to bibliographies included in standard sources and to core lists or other standard bibliographies. Reviews in periodicals in the various disciplines are surveyed in order to select the most appropriate materials for our curricula. Faculty recommendations are encouraged.
Electronic and/or Internet Resources
In addition to searching the Internet via various search engines, librarians and faculty may consult several sources for current reviews of Internet resources. These sources of selection do not constitute comprehensive coverage. For a listing of available resources, contact the Collection Development Librarian.
