Intramural sports
are extremely popular at the University of
Montevallo for men and women. There is no
minimum skill level required to
participate - - just a willingness to join
in and have fun!
HRL Events
HRL offers a
variety of planned events. They could be
as formal as a hall dinner or as informal
as a group of people getting together to
play softball on a nice Saturday
afternoon! HRL events are an exciting,
fun, and important part of living in the
University of Montevallo residence halls.
Attending events will allow you to grow
personally through exposure to a variety
of people and ideas. They bring people
together, expand acquaintances, and in
many cases create new friendships. Another
important aspect of HRL events in the
halls is that they are just plain FUN!
Learning and education should be a
life-long process that takes place not
only in the classroom setting, but in the
real life setting of residence halls as
well. So GET INVOLVED in HRL events, meet
interesting people, explore new ideas, and
add significantly to your college living
experience!
Residence Hall
Association (RHA)
The University of
Montevallo Residence
Hall Association (RHA) is a
representative
organization that
empowers on-campus
residents to play an
active role in residence
halls through service,
educational and social
programming, and
leadership
opportunities. RHA also
enacts change through
legislation and
advocates the issues and
concerns of residents
with the ultimate goal
of making the residence
halls of the University
of Montevallo a more
respectful and united
community. RHA
elections are held in
the fall semester of
each academic year.
