This four-story building houses almost 200 women. Each room in Brooke has a private bath and an elevator provides easy access to upper floors. Residents may relax outside on the porch swings. Since Brooke Hall is the most popular women’s hall, there are usually very few spaces available for new resident assignments. Brooke is home to upperclassmen women and the Chi Omega sorority.  Brooke is also the home of the Honor's womens' program on the 4th floor.  Brooke Hall was built in 1969 and was dedicated to Myrtle Brooke who, in 1925, initiated the training of social workers at what was then known as Alabama College.
