Brooke Hall

This four-story building houses almost 200 women. Each room in Brooke has a private bath and an elevator provides easy access to upper floors. Residents may relax outside on the porch swings. Since Brooke Hall is the most popular women’s hall, there are usually very few spaces available for new resident assignments. Brooke is home to the Chi Omega sorority.  Brooke Hall was built in 1969 and was dedicated to Myrtle Brooke who, in 1925, initiated the training of social workers at what was then known as Alabama College.
