Continuation in the program

For a student to continue in the Honors Program they must maintain an overall Grade Point Average (G.P.A.) of 3.2.  If a student's G.P.A. drops below a 3.2, a probation notification will be sent. The student will need to meet the minimum G.P.A. by the end of the following semester. For any Honors courses to be accepted for Honors credit a minimum grade of B must be achieved. Honors students do not have to take an Honors class each semester to remain in the program, but it is encouraged.
