2011 IFC Recruitment Rules (Full Text)

 

Some Reminders for the Chapters:

·            Mandatory Recruitment Dates are as follows:

September 12^th- Open House

September 14^th- Smokers

September 16^th- Bid Day

·         Formal recruitment will be DRY. No alcohol may be given out in any form.

·         No open bids may be given out after the first Greek event, which is the Greek Speak event on August 28^th.

·         No open bids may be given out to freshman or transfer students before Formal Recruitment unless they have already attended class at UM.

·         All men going through recruitment must have at least a 2.25 College GPA or a 2.3 High School GPA to receive a bid. This goes for open bids as well.

·         Open House, Smokers, and Bid Day are mandatory events. Men going through recruitment must attend these to receive a bid.

·         The order for smokers and open house is as follows: Pike, LXA, AKL, ATO, DX

·         During registration days, only 3 fraternity men may be at your organization’s table.

·         Fraternities may not provide false information about their fraternity, or another fraternity

·         Our goal is 85 men to go through recruitment: help IFC achieve that goal
