Pi Kappa Alpha prides itself on being one of the largest national fraternities.  Members are selected on the basis of our four cornerstones: Scholars, Leaders, Athletes, and Gentlemen.  After being selected to join Pi Kappa Alpha, members strive to hold each other up, pushing each other towards the ideals of the True Pike Initiative which strengthens our brotherhood.

During the year the brothers of Pi Kappa Alpha host many events, many purely for fun and others to bring awareness to problems or raise money to donate to our philanthropy.  On St. Paddy’s Day we hosted our first annual “Luck of the Irish” Dodgeball Tournament to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis.  We also have a Crawfish Boil every year that doubles as a canned food drive.  Hurricane Party is always a huge success and is one of the largest parties Montevallo sees each year.

The Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity runs a very successful intramural program, in which we came in 2nd place over all and were the Ultimate Frisbee Champions.

Famous Alumni include:  Bobby Bowden - Head Football Coach (Florida State), S. Truett Cathy - Founder/CEO Chick-Fil-A, Horace Grant - Professional Basketball Player, Tim McGraw - Country Music Artist, Scott Van Pelt - ESPN Anchor, Jon Stewart - Host of Comedy Central's "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart"
