Program Course List and Deadlines:

All graduate program application deadlines, unless otherwise noted, are as follows:
Fall:         July 15
Spring:     November 15
Summer:  April  15

Master's of Education in Counseling (M.Ed.)
Fall Cohort group:         April 15
Spring Cohort group:     November 15

Master's of Science in Speech Pathology (M.S.)
Fall:  March 1

Please note that all deadlines are priority deadlines and not hard deadlines.  Applicants may submit application materials after the deadline dates with the understanding that submitting materials does not guarantee admission for the following term. 

Test Information

Miller Analogies Test (MAT)
The MAT is administered several times each year on the UM campus. To register for the test contact Kathie Hope in the Counseling, Leadership, and Foundations office at (205) 665-6380 or hopeky@montevallo.edu.

Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
Please call 1-800-473-2255 for more information on registering for  the GRE.  You may access information online at www.gre.org.  UM requires the GRE General Test.

Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)

Please call 1-800-717-GMAT (4628) for more information on registering for the GMAT.  You may also access information at www.mba.com.
