SAC Giving Opportunities
Alumni and friends of the University of Montevallo have a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in one of the most-exciting undertakings in the University’s history by pledging their support to the Student Activity Center.
The first facility of its kind at the University of Montevallo, the state-of-the-art Student Activity Center provides recreational facilities that have never before existed at this level on this campus. Students have unprecedented opportunities for recreation and fitness, the classical complement to the liberal arts environment for which Montevallo is known.
The groundbreaking ceremony in October 2002 marked the beginning of construction. The Center opened in late August 2004, and the dedication ceremonies took place during the annual Founders’ Day activities on Thursday, October 14, 2004.
The Center begins a new chapter at Montevallo, allowing the University a variety of opportunities for student activities never before available.
We invite you to participate in this historic undertaking by commemorating an area in the Center.
