Alabama's Public Liberal Arts University

New Residence Hall

As part of its five-year strategic plan, the University of Montevallo has a goal of increasing enrollment by 500 students. In addition to the recently completed resident hall, UM needs to build two new dormitories to accommodate the increased student population.

In 2011, UM hopes to start construction on a new dormitory, a 60,000-square-foot building that accommodates 154 co-ed students. The building will feature apartment-style, four-bedroom suites. Designed to match the historical ambiance of the campus, the dormitory will be a brick, four-story construction with a shingle-style roof.

The recently completed resident hall.  Two more dormitories are needed to accommodate increased enrollment. Floor plan for New Residence Hall.
