The Department of Foreign Languages at Montevallo offers a B.A. degree in Foreign Language with concentration in Spanish. The minor in Spanish consists of 12 credit hours of courses numbered 300 of higher.  The most common courses for the minor are SPN 301, 302, 341, and 342. Our department also offers students the opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge of Spanish and Hispanic culture through participation in Summer Study Abroad.

Students wishing to declare a major or minor in a foreign language must consult with an advising professor in the Foreign Language Program.
