The department offers:

  • four semesters of basic French language as part of the General Education requirements;
  • a minor in French which consists of 12 credit hours of courses numbered 300 of higher;
  • a B.A. degree in Foreign Languages with concentration in French; and
  • a B.A. degree in Foreign Languages with teacher-certification. This option allows students to teach French in grades 6-12 in the state of Alabama.
