The department offers:

four semesters of basic
French language as part
of the General Education
requirements;

a minor in French
which consists of 12
credit hours of
courses numbered 300
of higher;
-
a B.A.
degree in Foreign
Languages with
concentration in
French; and
-
a
B.A. degree in Foreign
Languages with
teacher-certification.
This option
allows students to teach
French in grades 6-12 in
the state of Alabama.
Students wishing to declare a major or
minor in a foreign language must consult with an advising professor in the
Foreign Languages Program.
