Design/technical students are trained in construction, rendering, computer-aided drafting and hands-on exposure to new materials and techniques in live performance and film. You are also taught how to collaborate effectively with directors and other designers. You will have the opportunity to build a competitive design/tech portfolio through diverse class projects as well as assistant and designer opportunities on large and small theatre productions.
Stage Managers gain experience every semester and are mentored professionally at theatres such as The Shakespeare Theatre of NJ, Shenandoah Music Theatre, Utah Shakespeare Festival and Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas.
