SCHOLARSHIPS      (Back to Menu)

Scholarships are awarded based upon ACT/SAT scores, grades, and in many cases, financial need. Generally, a scholarship application, letters of recommendation and résumés are not required unless specifically requested.

To be considered for a scholarship, entering freshmen must submit an application for admission to the University, along with an official high school transcript and ACT or SAT scores by the scholarship deadline. Transfer students must submit an application for admission and official transcript(s) by the scholarship deadline. All students currently enrolled as of the scholarship deadline will be included in the applicant pool.

An asterisk (*) denotes scholarships and awards that may not be held in conjunction with other University scholarships also denoted with an *. A pound mark (#) denotes that a special application must be filled out, and you must contact the office or individual listed.

Students are encouraged to explore scholarship options available through non-University services. Civic clubs, professional organizations, churches and high school guidance counselors are excellent sources for these awards. Students may also access the Internet for scholarship sources. One good Internet source is www.fastweb.com, a free scholarship search with more than 275,000 services listed.
