All solicitations other than the University's annual fund, capital or project fund-raising campaigns, and those for the specific benefit of the University require official authorization by the President or designee.
On-campus solicitations by recognized charities which benefit the general community and by University employees and students representing recognized civic clubs and organizations may be authorized. Other solicitations during work hours, including breaks and meal periods, are prohibited.
On-campus solicitations and distributions of commercial materials in work areas and private living quarters, including foyers and entrances, by non-University personnel are prohibited.
Posting of solicitation materials on campus electronic communication systems or on any interior or exterior surface other than bulletin boards is prohibited.
Aiding or abetting the distribution and posting of unauthorized solicitation materials in any form or medium is prohibited.
Violations should be reported to the Chief of the campus police.
