On July 1, 2010, Technology Services implemented a new online system for recording and tracking trouble tickets. Service-Now (SNOW, for short) is a very sophisticated product that offers many features not previously available to the UM community.
Chief among the new features is SNOW's Self Service module that enables Montevallo faculty, staff and students to enter, view, track and update their own technology-related incidents and requests. The Self Service module is entirely web based, so incidents and requests can be entered or tracked from any location with internet access, whether on campus or off.
