May 9, 2008	Harbert Writing Center--May Term 2008 hours The Harbert Writing Center is open during May Term from 10:00-2:00. Members of the University of Montevallo community are welcome to come to the Center to meet with a Writing Consultant or to use the resources (including computers, grammar and documentation guides, or simply the comfortable space). Harbert Writing Center consultants are trained to work with writers at all stages of the composing process. April 30, 2008	2008-2009 Fledgling Calendar and Updates It is that time of year again! Time to submit your calendars for the 2008-2009 Student Government Association Fledgling! Similar to last year’s Fledgling the new one will include a planner in the front and the Alpha Entries and SGA Constitution in the back. Your events can be include on the specific day throughout the planner so that students know what is going on around campus. If you are not familiar with last year’s Fledgling and are interested in seeing it, there are limited copies available in the Student Life Office- in the SUB. Any department or registered student organization can have their events included in the calendar. All events must be submitted digitally and can be emailed to HatawayAL@montevallo.edu All calendars and events must be submitted by MAY 16 For any departments on campus, you can also take this time to update your entry in the Alpha Entries. You can view the most updated copy online at: http://www.montevallo.edu/sga/fledgling/default.shtm And click the Alpha Entries link on the left hand side. These updates will also be due by May 16. March 31, 2008	New Help Desk Hours COMPUTER SERVICES HELP DESK NOW AVAILABLE 24/7 Computer Services is pleased to announce that our Help Desk is now available to UM students 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. March 25, 2008	Summer 2 MC 325 Survey of American Cinema schedule update The time listed in the schedule of classes for the Summer 2, 2008 section of MC 325 Survey of American Cinema has been changed to Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday only from 1-4 pm in Comer Auditorium, not Monday through Friday. February 8, 2008	NACElink Connect The Counseling and Career Center has partnered with the National Association of Colleges and Employers to provide NACElink Connect, an online job board, to UM students.
