Microsoft Entourage 2004 for Macintosh
and the New Daylight Saving Time Law

 

Synopsis:
Microsoft has released a patch for Entourage 2004 that allows it to observe the new DST law.  If you Mac is connected to the campus network, you have probably already received this patch as an automatic update.
 

Verification:
Follow these steps to verify that your installation of Entourage 2004 has received the DST patch:

1. Run Entourage.
    
2. Click Entourage on the menu at the top of the screen, then choose About Entourage:
   
    
3. A window will appear that shows the Entourage version number:
   
    
4. If your version of Entourage 2004 is 11.3.3 or higher, the DST patch is installed.
    
5. If your version of Entourage 2004 is 11.3.2 or lower, please run the Apple Software Updater:
   1. Choose Software Update from the Apple menu.
       
   2. In the Software Update window, select the items you want to install, then click install.
       
   3. Enter an administrative account name and password.
       
   4. After the update is complete, restart the computer if required.
       
   5. Repeat these steps to see if more updates are now available.  Because some software updates are prerequisites for others, you may need to repeat these steps several times to complete the software update sequence.
