Faculty can use Blackboard in any way that they are comfortable — from
having a syllabus and contact information online to creating a complete
course along with comprehensive course materials supplemented with
communication and collaboration through real-time chats, threaded
discussions, class e-mail, and online file exchanges.
Blackboard allows instructors to post lecture notes, handouts, grades, assignments, and much more — using text-based materials or multimedia. They can also conduct live chat sessions and give online assessments.
